It’s far too easy seeing through others’ actions.
Either all the depth and complexity that goes into your own decision-making do not apply to them, or maybe you’ve got a superpower. I don’t need to tell you that both are very unlikely (wait, I just did!).
I don’t blame you, the superpower illusion is strong and persistent, but it’s costing you a lot of drama and many missed opportunities. Because we don’t ask questions we already know (or think we know) the answers to, we cease to learn.
The solution? API (Assume positive intent).
I’m not suggesting to allow anybody to treat you as they please, but rather to free yourself from the trappings of the ego and leave your mind free to untangle the situational, chaotic reality driving most of everything that happens in your life.
