Back from the hike
You’re so entrenched in your systems that they’re invisible to you. You can’t see the forest for the trees, and as you get busy fixing problems, the systems remain broken, and they keep generating even more of the same problems.
But you’re in luck because all problems have systemic causes, which means they tend to form patterns. One tree, two trees, three trees … it must be a forest!
So do fix the problems (someone has to), but when a pattern emerges, get out of the fucking woods, find the system, and try to fix it once and for all.
