Death to the leader
Graham Hancock has quite a few whacky theories about the origins of humanity but at least one about its future that makes a lot of sense, and that is tomorrow we may not need leaders anymore.
We need them today because we’re not yet ready to take complete responsibility for ourselves and find our place in society as individuals, so we look for someone to follow instead. But as we progress as a species, the role of the leader as we know it seems inevitably destined to be reduced to that of the administrator and the technician.
