Impostor among us
Neil Gaiman was invited to a gathering of eminent people in the arts and sciences. He said he couldn’t help but feel out of place, not qualified to be there.
During the event, he met another famous Neil, and they started chatting.
“I just look at all these people,” the other Neil said, “and I think, what the heck am I doing here? They’ve made amazing things. I just went where I was sent.”
And Gaiman said, “Yes. But you were the first man on the moon. I think that counts for something.”
