In perfect delay
“As long as it takes” is not a strategy.
“As long as it takes” assumes that there’s a perfect state for your product and that you can actually achieve it. Unfortunately, the world won’t stop revolving while you refine your thing to perfection. There are only three timespans you can launch anything: ahead of its time, when it’s good enough, and too late.
For obvious reasons, you don’t want to launch ahead of your time, nor too late. This leaves you with a short window that only stays open around the deadline coming.
And that’s why “As long as it takes” is not a strategy; a deadline is.
