It’s 1:08 am as I wrap up the edits for this post after having spent the last four hours chasing other ten different ideas into as many dead ends.
One thing I learned writing daily for five months is that I’d better do it in the morning or I will end up writing something I’m not happy with in 3-5x the time it takes me to write a satisfactory piece any other day before 11am.
It must be something to do with circadian rhythms. I’m not a doctor, but before you decide you’re not cut for something, give it a shot at a different time of the day (or night). You may be surprised (or maybe you really suck, but at least you’ll make sure).
It’s 1:27 am now.
