It's hard being small

Large animals have fewer predators and can more easily defend themselves. They also have lower metabolic rates, which means they tend to live longer and need less food per pound than a small animal.

Being large comes with many advantages; in fact, did you know that small animals tend to evolve larger bodies over time?

On the other hand, large animals are the first to go extinct when environmental conditions suddenly change. That’s because large animals have nowhere to hide and need a larger quantity of food and water to survive. Lastly, large animals tend to have fewer offspring, which means they get fewer chances at adaptation than small ones.

It’s interesting how it works almost exactly the same in business.
