Persevere or pivot?
Pivots, iterations, experiments, feedback loops, lean approaches, agile methods, analytics. No, these are not ADHD symptoms. Or are they?
Isn’t it just as important to stick with it for long enough? And the next question would be: well, then how long is enough?
In the stories I heard, successful change only seems to happen when changing is the last resort. That must be a good rule of thumb.
In the meantime, let’s make space to listen, practice empathy, be of service. This stuff doesn’t scale well but it’s where you have the highest chance of finding a new direction when the time for change finally comes.
