Abraham Maslow never drew a pyramid, which is actually a gross misrepresentation of his ideas.
Believe me, I hate doing this to you, but in your heart of hearts, you always knew that diagram was flawed.
First: Satisfaction in any area of your life isn’t something you check off a shopping list and be done with forever.
Second: different cultures have different priorities, and some people just have their priorities mixed up.
Third: Self-actualization does not exist in isolation.
