Whose business?
Ok, I learned this from Byron Katie. I know nothing about her beyond the fact that TIME named her “a spiritual innovator for the 21st century” which sounds a lot like “cult leader” to me but, you know, if you think an idea has merit, does the source matter?
Anyway, Katie says there are only three kinds of business: mine, yours, and God’s.
Think God is an old man with a long beard? That’s your business.
Does it make me mad that you believe such an absurdity? My business.
Are you right? God’s business.
Learn to catch yourself when you’re stepping into someone else’s business and you’ll live a happier life.
