One of Marc Andreessen’s old bosses used to say there’s only two ways to make money in business: one is to bundle; the other is unbundle.
That rings particularly true if we’re talking about digital products. Between the two, unbundling seems to be the most common way of creating successful digital products—unbundling Microsoft Excel in particular—and I have a feeling there’s still more unbundling to do.
OMG, I just made a Google Sheet for writing Twitter threads... and was like this is clearly a "product" :) Also I found it fascinating that even though I *wanted* to use a product like Airtable or something similar for this... at the end of the day, the spreadsheet was easier.
